New Product: Cross Database Platform Data Synchronization With Datanamic DataDiff CrossDB
FEBRUARY 2011Datanamic introduces a new product, Datanamic DataDiff CrossDB, for cross database platform data comparison and synchronization. The tool compares data between databases of different types, displays the differences in an easy-to-use interface, and synchronizes the database directly or generates a synchronization script covering the data changes.
Datanamic DataDiff CrossDB can compare and synchronize data between any of the following databases: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, MS Access and PostgreSQL (e.g. compare and synchronize an Oracle database with a MySQL database). Unlike other cross platform tools, Datanamic DataDiff CrossDB does not use a 'middle layer' to get access to the data in the database. Our tool uses reliable native connections and intelligently selects data conversion routines when the source and destination data type differ.
This new product uses a combination of new and proven techniques. With our data modeling solution, DeZign for Databases, we have more than 10 years experience in loading, analyzing and converting databases from different database platforms. In Datanamic DataDiff CrossDB we use the same database drivers. For the comparison and synchronization of data we use large parts of the routines used in our other data synchronization solutions. Combine these techniques, add intelligent data conversion routines, and you have a reliable cross database platform synchronization tool.
