  • If a source field allows NULL and the target does not allow NULL invalid NULL data may be synchronized. If the source data contains NULL values where this is not allowed in the target, the record will be deselected. These records are indicated in the grid. There is a setting in project options to disable the automatic deselection of these records.
  • Improved comparison performance.
  • Disabling or enabling triggers in MS SQL Server resulted in an error. Fixed.
  • Using string fields or rowguid fields in the comparison key for MS SQL Server resulted in unnecessary insertions and deletions. Fixed.
  • The Messages screen at the bottom will now remember it's height if changed.
  • DB Data Difftective will now show the progress of errors, warnings and hints found while validating.
  • After a table has been synchronized, the totals of records (identical/update/insert/delete) will be reset to zero.
  • When the (de-)select all buttons are used in the different data grids, not always the correct columns and headers were shown. Fixed.
  • When the connection settings are changed in the project settings, the tables will now be refreshed.
  • An access violation occurred if you did not have any tables listed, and a compare was canceled. Fixed.
  • The table mapping menu was enabled when no project was open. Fixed.
  • Wrong title for 'edit column settings' dialog. Fixed.
  • Missing hint for validate button in toolbar. Fixed.
  • View messages menu was enabled when no project was open. Fixed.
  • Comparison results are now only reloaded if the focus changes to another table.
  • After changing column settings for a table, status and comparison results will be reset again.
  • New projects are now by default saved in the My Documents directory.
  • Improved text on synchronize options dialog.
  • Validation rules will now give a warning if a source field allows NULL, but the destination field does not allow NULL.
  • Log was improved to better show the time taken to compare/synchronize.
  • "Disabled triggers" will now be dis/enabled depending if the Target Database supports triggers.
  • Added help button in Table Mapping and Add/Remove Tables dialogs.
  • When generating SQL script the generated script contained errors if the name of a column was part of the name of another column. Fixed.
  • For PostgreSQL values of REAL and DOUBLE PRECISION were rounded. Fixed.
