Select a source database

In the New Project wizard, you need to select a source database. You can select a "stored database connection" or you can enter the database connection properties manually.

The source database is the database for which the data will not change when you synchronize. You can say the source database is the "master" database.

Please note that we use a MS SQL Server in this walk-through. This could also be a Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, InterBase or Firebird database.

Click Next to continue with the wizard.
