About reserved words

When DeZign for Databases validates your model, it also validates the database object names to see if no reserved words are used. Sometimes you don't want that. In that case you might want to modify the list of reserved words.

The list of reserved words differs per database. The reserved words are stored in text files. These files are located in the Definitions directory (default "C:\Program Files\Datanamic\DeZign for Databases V4\definitions"). The Definitions directory is a subdirectory of DeZign for Databases' installation directory. In this Definitions directory you'll find text files like "oracle_reservedwords.txt". You can open and modify such a textfile in your text editor (Notepad).

If you don't want reserved words validation in DeZign then you can delete the reserved words file or delete all lines in the files.
