Are the Projects Compatible Between the Editions?

Yes. The .dez files are compatible between the editions (Standard, Professional and Expert). Your complete data model is stored in the .dez file. It does not matter in which edition you open a project (.dez file). You can for example open (and edit) a project created with the Professional edition, in the Standard edition.
